The Team:

Typical work includes:

  • Landlord and tenant disputes including dilapidations, forfeiture, service charge, lease renewals and break clauses
  • Party wall, boundary, trespass and nuisance claims
  • Joint venture disputes, conveyancing issues and breach of contract
  • Professional negligence relating to property transactions
  • Rights to light, easements, and restrictive covenant issues
  • Disputes involving property insolvency, possession, and title defects

The Role:

This is a standout opportunity for a 4+ PQE senior solicitor to join a team at the heart of the firm's strategic growth plans. You will be supporting on high-value matters, work with a prestigious client base, and benefit from a clearly defined progression pathway.

Your work will span the full spectrum of Property Disputes, including and not limited to joint venture and conveyancing disputes, trespass, party wall and developer claims, and professional negligence and rectification claims. As well as that, advising a full range of landlord and tenant disputes such as breaches of covenant, possession and service charge problems, business lease renewal and dilapidations claims.

There are very realistic, where there are exciting opportunities to develop and grow as a property litigator as the size and structure of the practice will allow you to rapidly progress.

The work will be broad and high-profile, offering the level of exposure and responsibility expected at Senior Associate level. You'll be encouraged to take a leading role on matters and client relationships, while also playing an active role in mentoring and developing junior lawyers within the team. The firm offers the support and backing of an experienced practice, while still giving you the autonomy to build your own profile internally and with clients.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE (England & Wales), with previous experience in Property Litigation.
  • You will be keen to go out and engage in business development and build up your own client base.
  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail are essential.
  • You should work well within a team.
  • You will deal with an excellent quality of work.
  • Salary is above market rate depending on your level of experience, plus an exceptional bonus structure and benefits package.
