The team are now looking for a motivated Property litigation Associate to join this well-established and forward-thinking practice.

The Role

The firm is seeking an Associate to join its busy and dynamic Property Litigation department. This is an exciting opportunity to take on real responsibility from the outset, with clear future scope to build relationships with the team's long-standing client base while working on a diverse range of high-profile property litigation matters.

The department has experienced significant growth and under strong leadership, is well positioned for further expansion. You will work closely with a team of highly experienced partners and senior lawyers, many of whom focus on prime London real estate and act for HNW and UHNW clients.

As an Associate, you will carry out work on a broad caseload of disputes relating to commercial, residential and mixed-use property including:

• Development disputes
• First tier tribunal (property chamber) cases and in particular, enfranchisement issues and disputes
• Landlord and tenant issues including forfeiture and lease renewals
• Rent and service charge disputes
• Dilapidations claims
• Landlord and tenant act 1954 proceedings
• Possession claims
• Rights of light disputes
• Party wall issues
• Boundary disputes

Requirements:

• 2-4 years' PQE (England & Wales) Property Litigation Solicitor.
• Commercial awareness and enthusiasm to develop sector knowledge, contribute to know-how and support business development.
• Team-oriented approach with the flexibility to thrive in the firm's hybrid working environment.
• Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly.
• Professional in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
