The Role

You will become part of a Corporate team with a well-established deal flow spanning private equity, public and private M&A, venture capital and equity capital markets work.

The client base is broad in terms of both sector and geography, and the calibre of instructions is consistently high, punching at the top of the market as a international practice.

Day to day you will take ownership of transactions, advising clients with both technical rigour and commercial awareness. Alongside your transactional responsibilities you will be expected to contribute actively to client relationships and business development activity, helping to grow the team's profile as well as its revenue. Supporting and developing junior members of the team will also form a meaningful part of the role as a senior associate.

The Ideal Candidate

• Corporate lawyer with 5+ years PQE and solid M&A transaction experience
• Technically strong with a commercially focused approach to client advice
• Confident managing deals with appropriate supervision and taking ownership of outcomes
• Actively interested in business development and growing client relationships
• Someone who takes their responsibility to junior colleagues seriously and leads by example
