The Role

Construction solicitors seeking a fulfilling and varied role will find the range and quality of work this team undertake to be a real joy.

You will gain exposure to an excellent standard of work across a myriad of sectors including a range of innovative energy technologies, infrastructure, utilities, commercial developments and re-developments, PFI/PPP, transport and much more.

Supporting clients by advising on the full life cycle of construction projects, you will work alongside major public bodies, developers, funders and contractors to ensure the smooth running of projects that are changing the face of the UK.

Advising on development agreements, bonds, guarantees, contracts and project continuity, you will be a central player in construction work aimed at ensuring the UK makes a transition to clean energy, can provide safe and sustainable housing and has the infrastructure in place to support a modern thriving society.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Is an experienced construction lawyer with at least 7 years of relevant PQE
  • Is technically strong with up-to-date legal knowledge
  • Can manage a varied caseload and work with a range of clients
  • Has excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues and clients alike
  • Is commercially aware and knowledgeable about the current construction law landscape
