  • £40000 - £55000 per annum Negotiable D.O.E Excellent Benefits

This is a rare opportunity to take control of/boost your earnings and escape private practice by working as an in-house lawyer.

The owner of this business is a real entrepreneur and he's going to make sure that the successful candidate in this role is looked after and the growth and progression potential in this role is rapid and exciting.

The Company

They are a financial service claims company, handling claims for customers regarding payment protection insurance.

This is big business. The profits are exceptional and the opportunity here is similarly exciting.
The company is a very successful one, and the owner himself is an entrepreneur with a number of businesses but this is his primary focus.

The Role

There are two elements to this role at the first stage, but the company's rapid growth means the role will change relatively quickly.

The two main elements at this early stage are:

Compliance: The company requires someone who is compliance / regulatory experienced - you may have a compliance qualification, if you do not have this, the company will put you through the course.

Processing claims: This is where you will earn very, very good money on top of your basic salary. They are thinking that the successful candidate will be earning based on the expectation/numbers, about £50,000 in commission in a year. It could work out to more depending on your work ethic though.

This company is open to discussing either profit share, or equity etc. to make this commission up and excel your earnings.

The most exciting thing is everything is all up for discussion, and they will ensure that you are very well looked after!

You would be working closely with the managing director, establishing a law practice for these claims to go through which means the profits are higher - as the first lawyer, you will be pivotal in the growth of this business.

They are looking at once established, getting admin to do the claims (or paralegals) for them to be signed off by the successful solicitor.

This role would suit a Solicitor looking to escape private practice, ideally with some compliance awareness or even better, a qualification, or a lawyer with real entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to fill gaps in knowledge for this role, able to process this type of claim.

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor, likely to have in excess of 3 years PQEConfidence - no shrinking violetsAbility to process claims of this nature (although training will be provided so if your skills are transferable, and everything else is right, this is not a problem).

Desired, but not essential:
