A genuinely interesting opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a brand-new Bristol office which has made an extremely strong start.

The office has been open for just a few months and is already profitable, with a significant amount of work now pipelined. As the team continues to grow, they are looking for someone experienced and driven who can come in and act as a senior figure within the Bristol office.

This is not simply another residential conveyancing role. You will be joining at an early stage of the office's development, giving you the opportunity to take on responsibility, have a real influence on the team and play a part in shaping how the Bristol office develops.

And there are two things which particularly stand out about the opportunity:

9-DAY FORTNIGHT

The firm is offering a 9-day fortnight, something brand new to the Bristol market.
You will work a 35-hour week and, through a rota, have an additional day off every other week. This is alongside hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

A BONUS SCHEME THAT CAN SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE YOUR EARNINGS

The firm also operates a strong discretionary bonus scheme linked to team performance, giving fee earners the opportunity to significantly increase their overall earnings.

Last year, some fee earners received bonuses of as much as 36% of their base salary, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for someone who wants their remuneration to reflect the success of the wider team.

The Role

You'll handle a varied residential property caseload including:

• Sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Lease extensions
• Transfers of equity
• Other residential property matters

The team deals with clients who value quality, expertise and clear advice, rather than operating in a purely volume-driven environment.

As one of the more experienced members of the Bristol office, you'll have the opportunity to take on responsibility beyond simply managing your own caseload and become a senior presence within the team.
About You

They're deliberately open on PQE. Experience and drive are more important than simply the number of years you've been qualified.
You will need at least 2 years' residential property experience and can be either SRA or CILEX qualified.
They're looking for someone who:

• Has strong residential property experience and can manage their own caseload
• Is confident dealing directly with clients, agents and lenders
• Has the experience to act as a senior figure within a young and ambitious team
• Is driven and wants to play a part in building something
• Takes pride in delivering a high level of client service
