The Role:

The firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to help develop its growing practice, handling a varied caseload of non-contentious matters including wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and estate planning.

You will take ownership of client matters, including complex, high-value estates with international assets, while working closely with partners and colleagues across the firm. Alongside excellent technical work, you will help raise the profile of the practice through networking and professional relationships.

This is not a role requiring an established team or an aggressive sales approach from day one. The priority is quality client service, with the opportunity to assume greater responsibility as the practice expands.

The Candidate & Benefits:

• You will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales, ideally with 6+ years' PQE in non-contentious Private Client work.
• You will have strong technical knowledge of wills, trusts, probate, estate administration and inheritance tax, alongside experience handling complex estates involving international assets.
• Knowledge of Family Investment Companies, trust taxation and Lasting Powers of Attorney is important. STEP accreditation is advantageous, as is exposure to contentious probate or Court of Protection matters.
• Just as importantly, you will combine sound judgement and empathetic client care with a proactive approach to relationship-building. You will be motivated by the opportunity to contribute ideas, develop a practice and progress as it grows.
