A leading UK law firm is looking to appoint a Senior Legal Transformation Manager to join its award-winning innovation team in Bristol. The Opportunity

This is a highly visible position that sits between legal practice, innovation and client delivery.

Working as a trusted adviser to practice groups, you'll identify opportunities to improve legal service delivery, introduce new technologies and develop smarter ways of working. You'll also partner directly with clients, helping modernise their legal operations through process improvement, legal technology and AI-led solutions.

Whether it's implementing Generative AI, redesigning legal workflows or leading complex transformation programmes, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of legal services.
It's an opportunity to influence change across the business whilst working on market-leading projects with some of the firm's largest clients.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading legal transformation and innovation projects from concept through to delivery.
• Driving the adoption of Generative AI and other emerging legal technologies.
• Designing more efficient legal service delivery models and operational processes.
• Working alongside legal teams to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Managing transformation programmes, including business analysis, stakeholder engagement and measuring project success.
• Advising clients on legal operations strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Building long-term relationships with partners, lawyers and in-house legal teams.
• Supporting thought leadership and helping position the firm as a leader in legal innovation.

About You

This role would suit someone with experience in legal transformation, legal operations or legal innovation, gained either within private practice or an in-house legal environment.
You'll have a strong understanding of how legal services are delivered and be passionate about finding better, smarter ways of working. Experience as a qualified solicitor is advantageous, but applications are equally welcomed from candidates with a legal background who have moved into operational, innovation or transformation roles.
You'll also bring:

• Experience delivering complex transformation or innovation projects.
• A strong understanding of legal technology, including Generative AI, document automation and workflow solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
• A commercial mindset, with experience managing projects and delivering measurable business improvements.
