Senior Legal Counsel

Due to expansion, this leading entertainment technology company is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to be based in Hong Kong to:

• Lead a small legal team to ensure the company is compliant with international laws and regulations regarding its international operations and entertainment platform in common law jurisdictions
• Review commercial contracts and internal policies to ensure that they are reflective of up to date regulations
• Manage external counsel including overseeing budget considerations regarding litigation matters
• Liaise with government and regulatory bodies regarding cross border compliance
• Oversee corporate governance and company secretarial matters

To qualify, you will have:

• Studied at a top tier university and have a legal qualification from a common law jurisdiction with 6-10 years' PQE gained with a leading law firm and in-house experience from a technology platform
• Fintech/crypto experience would be advantageous
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential whilst Cantonese would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment is necessary
