A highly regarded Legal 500 regional law firm in Surrey is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join its established team.

This is a senior opportunity for someone who enjoys high-quality privately funded work, wants genuine autonomy over their caseload and is ready to have a meaningful influence within a respected Family practice.

The Role

You'll handle a varied Family caseload, with financial remedy forming the main focus.

Your work will include:

• Complex financial remedy and division of assets
• High-value and international matters
• Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
• Cohabitation and property disputes
• Mediation and alternative dispute resolution
• Domestic abuse and harassment matters
• Civil partnerships and modern family issues
• Private children matters

Alongside your own caseload, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers, develop professional relationships and contribute to the direction of the Family team.

This is a role for someone who wants more than a purely fee-earning position and is keen to make their mark within an established practice.

What They're Looking For

You'll ideally be a Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner-level Family Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE.

You'll have:

• 5+ years' PQE in Family law
• Strong financial remedy experience
• Experience handling privately funded matters
• The confidence to manage your own caseload autonomously
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior lawyers
• A genuine interest in business development and networking
• Strong client relationship skills
• The ambition to take a senior role within the department

An existing following or established network would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
