Residential Property Lawyer | Maidstone | Flexible PQE
An established team. A growing business. An opportunity to make your mark.
Following a significant acquisition, this award-winning South East law firm is investing in the continued growth of its residential property practice, now around 20 people strong across the firm.
With an established client base, a strong regional reputation and ambitious plans, the next step is to strengthen its Maidstone presence with a Residential Property Lawyer who knows the local market, understands the importance of relationships and wants to play an active role in developing the business.
This is more than an opportunity to inherit a caseload. You'll have the backing of an experienced team, the freedom to build your own following and the chance to develop valuable connections across the Maidstone property market.
The Opportunity
Working alongside an experienced associate and supported by a well-resourced residential property team, you'll have the scope to:
- Build and manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Develop relationships with local estate agents, introducers and professional contacts.
- Handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
- Contribute to the continued growth and profile of the Maidstone practice.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while retaining autonomy over your clients and workload.
Experience in plot sales, development work or new-build transactions would also be advantageous.
About You
We're keen to speak with qualified Residential Property Lawyers at different stages of their careers, whether you're a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
You'll need:
- Solid technical experience and the ability to manage files independently.
- Established local connections or the confidence and ability to develop them.
- Experience building relationships with estate agents and generating work.
- A commercially minded approach and the ambition to contribute to the team's growth.
What's on Offer?
You'll be joining a firm with over 100 years of heritage, a strong regional presence and a residential property team recognised for its quality and expertise, including Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation.
In return, you'll receive:
- Competitive salary and discretionary bonus.
- Hybrid working and flexibility.
- Excellent benefits package.
- Ongoing training and career development.
- A genuinely supportive, collaborative working environment.
If you're looking for more than just another conveyancing role and want the opportunity to build something within an established, ambitious team, let's talk.
