Private Client Partner | L500-ranked department | London, West-End | Hybrid working | Excellent exposure to HNW/UHNW matters
The Firm:
With offices across London and the South East, this boutique law firm has built a strong reputation for its specialist Private Client offering. Recognised by the Legal 500, the firm has established a significant presence across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and is now investing in the continued growth of its thriving West End office.
Its approach combines technical excellence with practical, accessible advice.
The team understands that private client work often involves deeply personal and complex decisions, and prides itself on helping clients navigate these matters with clarity, sensitivity and confidence.
The firm's client base reflects the sophistication of its practice, spanning high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, including those with international interests and cross-border considerations. This provides lawyers with exposure to varied, intellectually engaging work and the opportunity to build expertise beyond more routine private client matters.
The Role:
The firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Partner to join its expanding West End team.
You will work closely with experienced Partners and colleagues on a broad range of private client matters for HNW and UHNW individuals and families.
The work is varied, often technically complex, and may involve international or cross-border elements, offering the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and develop a well-rounded practice.
Your responsibilities will include advising on:
- Wills and succession planning.
- Trusts and trust administration.
- Estate planning for high-net-worth clients and families.
- Probate and estate administration.
- Court of Protection matters.
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).
- Private client matters involving international assets or cross-border considerations.
Alongside managing your own caseload, you will have the opportunity to support and guide more junior members of the team, strengthen client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
You will be trusted to take ownership of your work while benefiting from the guidance of experienced Partners.
Why This Role?

- Exposure to HNW and UHNW clients: Work with individuals and families whose affairs often involve sophisticated estate planning, trusts and international considerations.
- A Legal 500-recognised practice: Build your expertise within a department recognised for the quality of its private client work.

- An office with room to grow: Join the firm's West End team as it continues to develop its presence, giving you the opportunity to contribute to the wider success of the practice.
- A sustainable working arrangement: Benefit from hybrid working, with three days per week in the office.
The Candidate & Benefits:
- Experience handling a varied private client caseload.
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, trusts, probate and estate planning.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to client care and matter management.
- Clear communication skills and the confidence to build trusted client relationships.
- An interest in supporting junior colleagues and becoming more involved in business development.
- Competitive salary, reflecting experience and expertise.
- Hybrid working, with three days per week in the office.
- A new bonus scheme, providing an additional financial incentive.
- Career development and progression, supported by experienced Partners.
- High-quality work, involving HNW and UHNW individuals and families.
