Award-Winning Boutique Family Law Firm | Senior Family Lawyer | 6+ Years PQE

An opportunity to take on a senior role within a specialist, Chambers and Legal 500 recognised family law firm where constructive, out-of-court resolution sits at the heart of the practice, and where your professional development and personal wellbeing are prioritised.

The Firm
A highly regarded Family boutique with offices across the South of England.

The firm is passionately committed to modern, constructive approaches to family law, with a strong emphasis on collaborative law, mediation, private FDRs, and early neutral evaluation.

Culturally, this is a firm that invests in its people. It offers a supportive, nurturing team environment, clear career progression, and a thoughtful range of wellbeing benefits, including confidential therapeutic support and optional team exercise classes.

The Role
You will join the Chichester team as a senior lawyer, managing a varied and often complex caseload spanning divorce, financial remedy, children matters, cohabitation disputes, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. You will be expected to handle matters of significant value and sensitivity with a high degree of autonomy, while contributing to the strategic growth and profile of the practice.

Enthusiasm for out-of-court dispute resolution is essential; the firm's approach is built around collaborative law, mediation, and constructive settlement wherever possible. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior colleagues, helping to shape the next generation of talent within the team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified solicitor with 6+ years' PQE in family law
  • Significant experience managing a broad and complex family caseload, including high-net-worth financial remedy and private children work
  • Genuine enthusiasm for out-of-court dispute resolution; collaborative law or mediation accreditation is strongly preferred
  • A natural mentor, with the ability to support and develop junior team members
  • Commercially aware, with a track record of business development and client relationship management
  • A constructive, client-focused approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead with empathy and authority

What's on Offer

  • A specialist family law caseload within an award-winning, Chambers and Legal 500 recognised boutique firm
  • A genuine opportunity to influence the direction of a growing practice and take on meaningful leadership responsibility
  • A supportive, nurturing culture with clear career progression to senior leadership
  • Family-friendly and hybrid working practices, with modern, spacious offices
  • Generous holiday allowance including an extra day off for your birthday, stakeholder pension, and team events
  • First-class support from an experienced administrative and paralegal team
  • Excellent ongoing professional and personal development
