Based in Aberdeen, this is an opportunity for an NQ-3 PQE Family Solicitor to join a market-leading team and work alongside experienced specialists on a broad range of high-quality family law matters.

You'll advise clients through a variety of personal and often challenging circumstances, including separation, divorce, financial arrangements and child-related matters, while developing your technical expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload, build strong client relationships and work closely with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver a seamless service. The Work

• Managing a varied caseload across a broad range of family law matters
• Advising clients on separation, divorce, financial provision and cohabitation matters
• Supporting clients on child law issues, including residence and contact matters
• Assisting with prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, adoption, surrogacy and international family law matters where required
• Drafting correspondence, pleadings and legal documentation
• Supporting negotiations, mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes
• Assisting with court proceedings where required
• Building trusted relationships with clients and providing clear, practical advice
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm

Your Experience

• Qualified Scottish Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) or soon to be qualified
• Strong understanding of Scottish family law procedures and legislation
• Ability to manage your own workload and handle competing priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to support clients through sensitive situations
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development activity
• A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working within a leading team
