The team handles high quality, complex family matters for HNW individuals, business owners and professional clients, often involving significant assets, complex financial arrangements and international considerations.
There is also the opportunity to become involved in cross-border Family work, giving you exposure to matters involving international assets, jurisdictions and clients.

The wider firm has an established Sports team with strong relationships across the sector, creating the potential to work alongside colleagues and become involved with high calibre sports clients where the Family work overlaps.

The Role

You will join an established and growing Family team, working closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of privately funded work.

Your caseload will include:

• Complex financial remedy matters
• Private children work
• Cohabitation disputes
• HNW and complex asset cases
• Matters with international and cross-border elements

The quality of the work is a key part of the opportunity. You will have the chance to take on increasingly complex matters, work closely with senior lawyers and develop your own client relationships.

There is also scope to get involved in business development and build your profile in the market, with the team supportive of lawyers who want to develop their own networks and progress their careers.

The Person

The team is looking for a Family Solicitor with around 2+ PQE, although the quality and relevance of your experience will be more important than a strict PQE requirement.

You will ideally have:

• Strong privately funded Family experience, particularly financial remedy
• Experience dealing with complex matters and high value assets
• Excellent technical and client management skills
• An interest in cross-border or international Family work
• A commercial approach and genuine interest in developing client relationships
• Ambition to progress within a highly regarded team
