This is a high-quality practice with an increasingly international focus, advising a sophisticated client base across a broad range of employment matters.
The Role

- Strategic employment advice to businesses, senior executives and entrepreneurs.
- Employment Tribunal litigation and complex workplace disputes.
- Senior executive exits, restrictive covenants and confidentiality matters.
- TUPE and employment support on corporate and commercial transactions.
- Workplace investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and performance matters.
- Employment status, contracts, policies and broader HR advisory work.
- Working alongside colleagues across the wider firm on cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters.
The team has a strong international outlook, with opportunities to work on matters involving clients and colleagues across different jurisdictions.
The Team
You will be joining a well-established Employment practice with genuine growth ambitions.
The team is led by a highly regarded Partner who has developed their career within the firm and has a strong international focus. The wider team includes experienced senior lawyers, an Employment Knowledge Lawyer and a solicitor qualifying into the team, creating a supportive structure with plenty of opportunity to learn and develop.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- An Employment Solicitor with around 5+ PQE, although applications from strong candidates outside this level will be considered.
- Experienced across a broad range of contentious and/or non-contentious employment matters.
- Commercially minded and confident advising clients directly.
- A strong technical lawyer with excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Interested in developing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
- Open to considering a move for the right opportunity, team and long-term career prospects.

The role could suit someone currently based outside Gloucestershire, with the firm open to considering strong candidates from further afield, including the Midlands.
