Commercial Litigation Lawyer (3+ PQE)
Location: Glasgow
Firm: Boutique, L500 Recognised Firm
Salary: Highly Lucrative + Clear Path to Partnership
The Role & The Opportunity
Litigation can often feel like a treadmill of high volume, long hours, limited control. This role is not that. This is a unicorn opportunity to step into a litigation role where you're not just handling cases, you're helping to shape and build a practice.
You'll join a highly regarded boutique firm in Glasgow, working directly alongside L500 recognised colleagues on complex, high-value disputes. But more than that, you'll be given something rarely offered at this level: real autonomy, real responsibility and a genuine platform to build something of your own.
From day one, you'll take ownership of a strong pipeline of commercial litigation work, spanning property disputes, insolvency, company law, construction matters and high-value contractual claims, and being involved in Court of Session work. This is not volume-driven work; it's a firm that focuses on quality, strategy and delivering meaningful outcomes for clients.
Alongside managing your own caseload, you'll play a key role in the growth of the litigation function. With an established client base already in place, you'll have the space and autonomy to develop relationships, generate work and, over time, build out your own team.
This is a firm where everyone rolls their sleeves up. There's no hierarchy for the sake of it, just a commercially minded, collaborative team focused on doing excellent work and growing something ambitious.
If you're someone who thrives on ownership, moves quickly, thinks commercially and wants to step away from rigid structures into something more entrepreneurial and see where your time effort goes, this is where you can make that happen.
