Associate - Aviation

An international law firm is hiring mid-senior associate to join their highly regarded aviation finance team based in Hong Kong to assist diverse clients on high value matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on aircraft leasing, trading and engine financing transactions
• Review, draft and negotiate diverse finance agreements including aviation lease and sale agreements, security agreements and aircraft and engine financing

To qualify for this role, you should be:

• Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong, England & Wales, or another common law jurisdiction, with at least 5 years' PQE.
• Having excellent Asian transactional experience in aviation finance, leasing and aircraft trading, acting for financial institutions, lessors and airlines
• Able to independently handle a financing transaction from beginning to end
• Multi-jurisdictional transactional experience involving various stakeholders is necessary
• Junior lawyer supervision would be advantageous
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Chinese languages are useful, however, not essential
• Strong academic background together with relevant experience and team playing spirit is sought
