The Role

The firm is seeking an Employment Associate 3+ PQE for their team in Manchester

The role will be based in the firm's office in the heart of Manchester, which is growing rapidly. You will have your own caseload, as well as supporting the Partners. Working with this Legal 500-ranked Employment team, you will gain exposure to exciting and innovative work with a diverse range of clients.
As a key member of the team, you will gain exposure to Employment advice and support in the education sector.

The role will consist of work including but not limited to:

• Advising Schools & Academies on the full range of Employment Law
• Advocacy for Employment Tribunals
• TUPE
• Union Issues
• Preparing Tribunal cases, preparation of Clime/Response, interlocutory applications, witness statements, Skeleton Agreements
• Drafting Contracts, Policies & Procedure; and advising on these procedures

You will have the opportunity to develop your technical and client relation skills while working alongside leading Employment solicitors.

Requirements

• You will be a 3+ years PQE Employment Solicitor
• You will have strong technical knowledge both contentious and non-contentious
• You should have first class client service skills
