The role:

Opportunity for a Corporate Tax Senior Associate 5+ years PQE to join a diverse practice, to be based out of Manchester

The national tax team acts for corporations, entrepreneurs, management teams, pension funds, charities, registered providers of social housing and local authorities in a range of domestic and international tax advice

They are looking to welcome another lawyer into the team who can get involved in transactional support for corporate, banking and real estate transactions, as well as delivering tax structuring advice and stand-alone advisory work.

The work on offer will relate to the tax implications of acquisitions and disposals; structuring and exit planning; partnerships and joint venture arrangements; UK inward investment structures and cross-border transactions; private equity funded businesses and EIS/SEIS funds; demergers and group reorganisations; transactions involving public sector bodies and charities; employee benefits.

This role would suit an individual who has a strong grasp of UK tax rules gained in a transactional or advisory practice.

The ideal candidate:

• Corporate Tax Solicitor 5+ years PQE with training and experience holistically across all Corporate Tax matters
• Excellent technical knowledge together with a commercial approach to legal services
• Demonstrable people skills and the ability to engage with lawyers at all levels
