The Role

The firm is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their growing Preston office.

The firm has a highly regarded, legal 500 ranked Family department. You will join a highly skilled team that is headed up by heavy hitting lawyers.

You will take on a diverse and broad caseload including disputes relating to wills, probates, estates, trusts, beneficiaries, executors, inheritance act claims and disputes regarding jointly and solely owned property.

Due to the expansion of the team and increased workloads, the role comes with prospects for career progression and development.

Requirements

You will be a Contentious Probate Solicitor with at least 3 years' experienceWorking towards ACTAPS would be beneficialYou should have good technical knowledge and be an organised individualStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clientsYou will enjoy working in a challenging, fast moving and professional environment

The Role

The firm are looking for an experienced Senior Employment Solicitor to join their Lytham office as Head of Department.

You should be a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Lawyer with the drive to build a department. This is an opportunity to really prove yourself with a firm that has a national presence.

You will work on a varied and interesting caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious matters, including contract and policy drafting, discrimination issues, managing discipline and performance, and redundancy and restructurings.

Though a portable practice is not critically essential, you should have a good track record of bringing in work and have a good network in the local area.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda of the firm and an opportunity to grow and develop a team.

Requirements
