The Role

The firm are looking for an Agriculture & Property Senior Associate / Partner to join their flourishing Chester office in the heart of Cheshire.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the Real Estate department where the Agricultural team sits, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

The firm advice a broad range of clients including landowners, entrepreneurs, farming businesses, landed estates, institutions and others with interests in land and the wider rural economy.

Your caseload will involve sale and purchases, tenancy agreements, contract farming agreements and farming structures.

You will mentor and oversee the work of junior Lawyers and help them to progress in their careers.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

You will be an Agriculture & Property with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience and applications are invited from even the most experienced candidates)You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skillsYou will have good experience of dealing with large settlementsYou will have strong business development capabilitiesExperience of overseeing a team is desirable, however not essentialSalary is competitive and negotiable depending on your level of experience, on offer is an excellent benefits package and bonus scheme
