The Role:

  • This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Contentious Probate & Trusts Senior Associate to join the firm's vibrant office in Leeds, with hybrid working in place
  • Earning high accreditation in the Legal 500, the Contentious Probate department cover a full range of disputes for HNW individuals, professional trustees and executors, with particular strengths in Inheritance Act & proprietary estoppel claims
  • To align with this, you will manage a diverse caseload covering all types of private client litigation, including trustee & executor disputes, TOLATA claims, Inheritance Act 1975 matters and challenges to the validity of wills
  • As a Senior Associate, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and support the junior members of the team and get involved in business development
  • In return, you can expect to receive plenty of opportunities to further progress within the team towards director and partner level

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An experienced Contentious Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE
  • Clear understanding of relevant legal issues
  • Highly meticulous & commercially focused
