The Role

The firm are looking for a Construction Litigation Associate to join them in their award-winning department within their Leeds office, with hybrid working in place.

The firm's Construction Litigation presence is nationally esteemed and is tier 1 ranked in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and deals with a varied and interesting caseload of contentious alongside advisory work. The firm works with an abundance of the UK's leading developers, investors and clients across a broad range of sectors.

The firm charges well for the work they undertake and provides a strong platform of administrative support for its fee earners, with a team of Paralegals and secretaries in each department.

You will run a high quality, varied caseload comprising the full remit of Construction Litigation; including; contract disputes, warranty-based claims, insolvency and payment disputes and construction-related professional negligence.

This role will place you working alongside a team of highly talented professionals who will guide and support you in both your day to day role and towards your career aspirations.

Requirements

• You will be a Construction Associate with a minimum of 1 years PQE
• Experience in litigated matters to include adjudication, mediation, litigation and risk management.
• Background in a firm with an excellent reputation in the field of construction law
• You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing
• You will have a meticulous eye for detail
