The role

This well-established MultiMedia & Events business are seeking a Legal Counsel to play a key part within their legal function.

You will be working closely with the Company Co-Sec, dealing with a broad variety of Commercial Contracts (supply/service agreements, licence agreements, confidentiality agreements etc), Data Protection responsibilities, Compliance, Co-Sec, IP and much more.

It will also be your duty to be pro-active and provide legal advice to the company board and business units, as well as instructing external counsel.

There is also the opportunity to be closely involved with different departments throughout the business, whether it be; Finance, Marketing or HR. This role will give you the freedom to be closely aligned with the parts of the business that are of high interest to you.

Requirements

• You will be a solicitor of 5 PQE with strong experience in Commercial & Data Protection Law
• Experience in Media, Publishing, Events or any 'Creative' industry would be advantageous
• Able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders and present a solutions driven approach
