The Role

The firm is looking for an entrepreneurial Commercial Solicitor to join their office in the heart of Newcastle.

You will deal with a broad client base covering many industry sectors, the sheer level of variety will make for an interesting caseload. Industry sectors will include FMCG, IT, Finance, Banking, Media, Retail, Real Estate, Construction and Medical.

The caseload will involve business start-ups, IT, IP and data privacy work. You will have the opportunity to develop a network of contacts to support the department's growth.

You will be a team player with strong communication and networking skills; combined with a friendly and professional approach to work and will be adept at working to targets within a busy team.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Solicitor (NQ - 4 years PQE)
• You should have a strong background in this area of law and/or completed a training seat at a strong commercial firm
• A meticulous eye for detail
• You will be commercially minded and enjoy business development and marketing
