Are you an experienced Family Partner looking to take the reigns of a department with significant investment from the management board? This is an exciting role to join a highly specialist firm in the South-East. They have grown and now offer a full service ripe for cross referral work across their multiple departments. The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Family solicitor to take a step up to head of department.

This department deals with a broad variety of privately funded family matters, ranging from:

  • Divorces and financial arrangements
  • Ancillary relief
  • Civil partnerships
  • Pre /post-nuptial agreements.
  • Children act matters

In this role you will managing files of the above nature, and assisting in the further growth of the team. There will be a heavy onus on growing and building up the department through business development or a portfolio of existing clients. This family team deals with a lot of cross-referral work and they are seeking an ambitious individual to handle this and take it to the next level.


  • You will be a senior family solicitor and you will be 7 years PQE
  • You will have strong experience managing your own files autonomously, but enjoy working as part of a wider team
  • Experience in management is desirable, but not essential
  • You will thrive in the opportunity in making a department your own
