The role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contentious Trusts & Probate Solicitor to join a growing, legal 500 ranked team based in Guildford

In this role you will be working alongside several highly experienced partners who are recognised in the legal 500 directories. This team are highly reputable and boast an enviable client base which spans the entirety of the UK. Many of the partners in this department are STEP qualified / ACTAPS associated giving them access to the highest level of work.

Examples of the caseload you will be handling include the following:

• advising trust companies
• acting on trustee disputes
• estate disputes where there is the issue of capacity
• court of protection related cases
• disputing will validity
• dealing with matters under the 1975 act

This department deals with a varied client base, including from charities, HNW individuals and SME's. As this department are highly ranked, much of their work is referred through conflict of interest cases at the partner level.
In this role, you will be encouraged to handle an HNW caseload coupled with developing your own brand and practice.

You will be encouraged to build relationships, network and build your own brand with the benefit of furthering your career

Requirements

• You will be 3 years PQE and will have experience running your own CTAP files
• You will have worked at a reputable practice
• You will enjoy business development and you will have the drive to assist in enhancing the firm's brand in Contentious Trusts & Probate
