The Role
This firm is seeking a residential property legal secretary to join them in their office in Dorchester, Dorset.
In this role, you'll find a highly supportive team and a collegiate atmosphere allowing you to perform at the best of your abilities every day.
You will be supporting fee earners as directed - the firm have a good volume of secretarial support for their fee earners, meaning that whilst the workload is busy, you will not be ground down by an unachievable level of expectation.
Responsibilities:

  • Audio typing and word processing
  • Production of accurate, timely and professionally presented documentation
  • Ensure efficient upkeep of all databases, records, filing systems, opening and closing of files
  • To ensure conducive working relationships with clients, colleagues and other associated third parties
  • Appropriate competency level of knowledge and experience in the relevant area(s) of law
  • Fast and accurate Audio typing skills (ideally in excess of 60 wpm)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • A high degree of diplomacy and confidentiality in respect of clients and clients matters
