This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2-5 PQE Construction Associate to join this prestigious, highly ranked law firm across the Legal 500 and Chambers alike. This Top-100 practice offers impressive benefits packages alongside tailored training and development opportunities. Few firms are prepared to invest in their solicitors in the way in which this award winning-practice does.
The Firm
Despite being ranked in the Top 100, they have a culture that you would associate with a smaller practice. The firm has a stand-out staff retention rate, in part, this is due to the high level of training, development, and career progression on offer. Many of the firm's Partners are home-grown, it is through their commitment to development that they have gone from strength to strength over the years.
You will find a vibrant leadership team, the firm very much has an open-door culture where it is commonplace to find partners sat next to trainees and NQs. We typically find that lawyers who work at this practice have way more in the way of experience compared to a similar level of PQE at other firms.
The firm has an unusually broad-based practice spanning commercial and private clients, civil and criminal, contentious, and advisory work.
You will find that the firm often acts on the other side of some of London's largest and most well-respected law firms. The work that the firm undertakes is often very complex and cross-jurisdictional in nature.
The Role
This Top-100 Legal 500 firm is seeking an Associate Solicitor to join its Construction team in London with flexibility for home working.
You will be joining a successful Construction Department - recognised in the Legal 500.
This role is to focus solely on non-contentious matters. The role is open to those with both contentious and non-contentious construction experience who are looking to specialise in non-contentious work moving forward.
The team is currently growing at a rapid pace, having attracted skilled solicitors from Norton Rose Fulbright, CMS, Pinsent Masons and Squire Patton Boggs, among others.
The team acts for a wide range of clients including developers, funds and other institutional investors, occupiers and high-net-worth individuals. They also have experience in acting for contractors and consultants.
They have extensive experience advising clients concerning complex and high-value development schemes including town centre and out-of-town regeneration, commercial, retail, sports, residential and mixed-use developments, student accommodation, hotels, infrastructure (including energy centres and sub-stations) and site remediation.
The team routinely advises clients in respect of letters of intent, pre-construction services agreements and other contractual arrangements.
