The Role

The firm is seeking an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join their growing office in Northampton.

You will be part of a highly regarded Family department. The team are friendly and everyone helps each other so a there's a real team ethos and drive.

You will take on a diverse and broad caseload of solely childcare matters both in legal aid and privately funded to include guardian work, parenting agreements, consent orders, child arrangement orders, prohibited step orders and specific issue orders

Due to the expansion of the team and increased workloads, the role comes with prospects for career progression and development.

Requirements

  • You will be a Childcare Solicitor with 3 years PQE
  • Children panel membership would be desirable but this is not essential
  • The ability to confidentially manage your own caseload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You will be a team player with excellent attention to detail
  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package and a lucrative bonus structure
