The Role

The firm is seeking an Agriculture Partner to join their growing office in York.

You will join an established team to further develop the Agricultural offering. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a first-class service to the existing client base and as well new clients.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the wider Commercial Property department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

The firm advice a broad range of clients including landowners, entrepreneurs, farming businesses, landed estates, institutions and others with interests in land and the wider rural economy. Your caseload will involve sale and purchases, agricultural tenancy agreements, contract farming agreements and farming structures, mines and minerals and leases for renewable projects.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda.

Requirements

  • You will be an Agriculture Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
  • A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
  • You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
  • You will have strong business development capabilities

Remuneration

  • Salary is negotiable depending on your level of experience, plus an excellent benefits package and a lucrative bonus structure
