The Role:

As part of the ongoing investment in their Liverpool offering, the firm is looking for a Senior Associate/Legal Director to lead their Employment offering in the city.

Working closely with the Partners and national Employment team, you will influence strategic decision making and the growth and direction of the Liverpool office. This means it is a rare opportunity to 'make your mark' on an already well-established global law firm.

The Employment practice acts for national and international employers across a range of sectors, including retail, tech and energy.

As a Senior Associate, you will be actively involved in the recruitment of Junior Lawyers, as the firm looks to expand its Employment offering in Liverpool and grow organically in the coming years. This presents clear prospects for Partnership that you will be encouraged to achieve in a relatively short timeframe.

Requirements:

  • As a guide, this role would suit an Employment Lawyer with 5 years PQE
  • Experience across all aspects of contentious & non-contentious Employment law
  • Comfortable leading a team and being involved in recruitment
  • Ideally, you will have an existing reputation and contacts, but this is not essential
