Are you looking for an opportunity at a growing law firm that can offer an abundance of progression prospects? Do you pride yourself on client service and want to get away from a high volume environment?

This firm has a reputation for developing and nurturing legal talent; many of their Partners came in at a junior level and have stepped up to Partnership in as little as five years. The firm has ambitious plans to grow nationally, and this presents substantial progression opportunities. Quality is very much prioritised over quantity at this firm, and you can expect to have a high level of client contact that is becoming increasingly less common.

The Firm:

This is a highly regarded regional heavyweight with eight offices across the North West. They have developed an outstanding reputation for their level of client service, which has seen them repeatedly ranked in the Legal 500 across a number of practice areas. This reputation ensures a steady stream of high-quality work which is the envy of its competitors in the region.

You will find a quality of work unheard of at a firm of this size, ranging from HNW individuals to national corporations including a host of household names. Their main areas for individuals are Property, Family, and Private Client, and on the business side, they have renowned specialist teams across Corporate, Litigation, and Employment. Within all of the areas above, they have received countless regional and national industry awards, demonstrating the firm's success and the level of technical ability that they possess.

Long before it was a necessity, the firm has adopted a flexible working culture, with home working commonplace throughout the firm. This has contributed to high productivity levels as individuals can work in the environment that best suits them, and an extremely low staff turnover rate. You will have the choice to work from the firm's state of the art office, based in a well-connected area of the City, or from home, with the firm providing all the necessary equipment for you to get set up and work effectively remotely.

Even though their team are often spread across different locations, they promote a collaborative working culture. By utilising the latest technology, they can stay connected with colleagues within their team and across departments.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer to join a highly regarded regional law firm, on the outskirts of Manchester City Centre.

Due to consistent, organic growth, the firm is now looking to strengthen its Residential Property department with an ambitious, driven Residential Conveyancer. The department has a strong network of clients and referrers, ensuring a steady stream of quality referrals coming in. They have ambitious plans to build on this growth over the next 24 months, with exciting national expansion plans presenting an abundance of progression opportunities.

The Residential Property department deals with a good quality of work. You will be handling a varied caseload of conveyancing matters including freehold and leasehold sales & purchase, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.

The department has introduced state of the art technology which has streamlined their processes. This has taken monotonous administrative duties away from fee earners, giving more time to focus on providing exceptional service to their clients. This has seen them achieve high client satisfaction rates and countless industry awards.

Many of the firm's Partners came in at a junior level, and ambitious individuals who are keen to take this step up in the future will be supported and encouraged to get there.

  • You will be a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with at least two years' experience within Residential Property (there is no upper limit in regards to the amount of experience)
  • You will have a strong background in Residential Conveyancing including sales & purchase, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
