The Role

The firm are looking for a Commercial Legal Director to join their Manchester office, with home working available.

As a senior team member, you will play an active role in the team's long-term growth by mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and nurturing existing client relationships.

The team have seen continued growth in the last 6 months and are showing no signs of stopping. This role would suit a driven and ambitious Associate who wishes to be part of this success story, with the aim to be the pre-eminent Commercial firm in the UK.

The Commercial team cover the six key areas of, TMT, IP, Contracts, Privacy & Data, Capital Projects & Infrastructure and Financial Services.

In this role you will be focusing heavily on IT, Data and Tech working with a client base including, FTSE Plcs, global household names and the most innovative of start-ups. This will include but not be limited to matters such as; fintech, payments, e-commerce and commercial contracts matters.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Solicitor with 7 years experience
• Experience in the financial services and technology sector would be of particular interest
• Background in a firm with an excellent reputation in the commercial field
• Enthusiastic about getting involved in business development activities
• The ability to confidentially manage your own caseload of high calibre work and clients
