The Role:

This is an opportunity to join a market-leading Employment team as an Associate in the firm's Manchester office.

You will be involved in work that is unparalleled in the region. You will be working closely with some of the world's largest employers on high-value litigation and multi-jurisdictional projects across various sectors, including finance, tech and energy. The team is regularly involved in creating new laws as well as advising on them, giving you the opportunity to make a difference.

This opportunity moulds around the individual, with the opportunity to specialise in contentious or non-contentious work and focus on specific sectors. You can also follow the traditional path to partnership or move into a Learning & Development role as a Professional Support Lawyer in the future.

Progression to Senior Associate within the team is transparent and will likely happen around 5 - 6 PQE. You will also receive a market-leading salary and benefits package, an impressive bonus, and a good level of flexibility (2 days in the office per week).

Requirements:

  • As a guide, this role would suit an Employment Lawyer between 1 - 5 years PQE
  • Experience gained across contentious and/or non-contentious Employment Law
  • Experience acting for Employers is essential
  • Relevant sector exposure (tech, finance, energy, retail, industry) is advantageous but not essential
  • Comfortable with client contact and building relationships
