The Role:

  • This is a standout opportunity for a Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join the firm's vibrant office in Manchester, with hybrid working in place
  • Ranked in the Legal 500, the Litigation department work primarily with athletes, clubs and leagues within the Sports sector on a full array of contentious issues
  • As such, you will have an impressive caseload covering all aspects of football-related litigation, including general disputes, high-court litigation, media disputes and defamation cases
  • Given the nature of the client base, your work will involve advising on disputes before a broad range of resolution forums, such as Premier League & EFL arbitrations, UEFA disciplinary bodies, FA Regulatory Commissions, the FIFA Football Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport
  • As a lawyer, you will have the opportunity to mentor the junior members of the team and get involved with business development
  • In return, you can expect to receive plenty of opportunities to further progress within the team towards director and partner level

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor from NQ to 6 years PQE
  • Genuine interests in the Sports & Media sectors
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player with excellent attention to detail
