The firm is seeking to hire a Family Paralegal into their growing office in Derbyshire.
Commutable from Manchester, High Peak, Buxton, etc.
Salary: £16,000 Benefits & Bonus (achievable OTE £25,000)
*This firm will fund the successful candidate to do a Legal apprenticeship through CILEx where you would spend one day per week with a training provider and work in the office four days per week.* (The firm would also then also support the candidate to qualify as a Solicitor through CILEx)*
- Ideally, six months or more Experience as a Family Paralegal is required (if you specialise in one area of family work, that is fine. If you have a general knowledge of other family law related matters, that is a bonus)
- Experience in other areas of law such as Property; Litigation; Private Client; Employment would be attractive, but Family law experience is a prerequisite.
If you have only worked in Family law, this could be an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of law and be an all-rounder. (This would happen during your training/apprenticeship)
This, in turn, creates a lot of opportunities to specialise later on in your career or retain a broader practice.
In the meantime, you will work closely with the Managing Partner, who is an established Family Lawyer themselves, to establish and drive the department forwards.
