Compliance Manager | Global Investments Business

This international Investment Management business focuses on investing in Real Estate, Private Property and Infrastructure. They are part of an international financial conglomerate with offices in Asia and the US, also boasting a very strong relationship with a reputable global bank.

You will be leading the group's UK Compliance function, liaising with senior stakeholders, communicating with the Investments and Legal teams to help achieve internal and external compliance throughout the business.

The business is part of a well-renowned, financial group who concentrate on investing into Real Estate, Private Property and Infrastructure all over the Globe. The business has invested in a dynamic combination of Real Estate, including; Shopping Centers, Apartment Blocks, Energy Network's, and much more; with many exciting projects on the horizon in the coming years and months.

You will find a very driven, modern, and responsive team who are motivated to help to achieve the businesses' goals. They make decisions quickly, and quite often, their deals are rather fast-paced.

They have a growing Real Estate portfolio across most key Cities in the UK; The team work collaboratively from their Central London office, a stone's throw from Liverpool Street station.

This is an exciting Compliance Manager role based within a reputable Investment Management business in Central London.

The Role

The business is seeking to hire a Compliance Manager to lead the group's compliance function whilst working alongside the Legal & Investments teams. You will be ensuring the business are compliant with regulations during the entire investment process, by identifying risk and managing compliance during all investment related activities.

You will be managing the AML/KYC process during acquisition and post investment with various stakeholders, as well as monitoring developments in AML/KYC. You will also be responsible for FACTA, CRS and other regulatory reporting requirements.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a risk-based compliance monitoring programme and training employees on compliance matters, including internal policies and procedures, relevant laws and regulations, as well as promoting a strong compliance culture. to assist with overall business compliance.

Requirements:

  • 7 years Compliance experience within the Financial sector
  • Knowledge of KYC, AML, sanctions, insider dealing, market abuse, conduct of business and conflicts of interest
  • Strong communication in English, Mandarin preferred but not essential
