The company

The business is seeking an experienced Assistant Insolvency Manager to assist with their progression.

This business is part of a well-renowned conglomerate in the UK Financial market, who specialise in restructuring, business transformation and special situations. You will have the opportunity to advise on public and closed companies, as well as exposure to investment funds in financial distress.

The business provides advice on business transformation, asset management, disputes, restructuring and insolvency. Their coverage includes financial services, asset management, real estate, energy, mining, life sciences, technology, media, manufacturing and transportation.

The Role

You will have the ability to work well as part of a team, support the development of junior staff members, as well as displaying strong problem-solving skills.

  • Manage a portfolio of challenging corporate and personal insolvency cases from start to completion
  • Oversee statutory matters, including the preparation of detailed reports and correspondence on a range of matters
  • Report directly to the business' senior partners, including identification of risk issues and the development and implementation of strategies
  • Complex investigations, reviews and litigation work as required
  • Monitoring job WIP and costs to budget
  • Developing and mentoring of junior staff; and development of personal networks for your own and the firm's benefit.

Requirements

  • 3 years formal insolvency experience
  • Strong knowledge of restructuring and insolvency principles
  • Advisory experience (options analysis, accelerated mergers and acquisitions) preferred
