As a Senior Corporate M&A attorney, you will be a leader in the firm's practice area and will support a rigorous practice in the firm's City of London Corporate Group.
On a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, venture capital transactions, financings and fund formation. Seasoned Senior Corporate M&A lawyers will further deepen their sector expertise through day to day deals in the mid-corporate M&A market space (£50-£500M) and which may range from venture capital offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, partnerships/LLCs, commercial transactions. Using your in-depth knowledge of corporate commercial issues clients in the current economic climate and may work on tax, intellectual property (IP), tech data technology, and other cross-border deals in multiple jurisdictions, while working within a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked law firm.

  • 4-6 years PQE minimum, acting in the £50-£500M (mid-market) space.
  • Seasoned Partners encouraged to apply. No upper limit on PQE level. Position offered will be commensurate with experience.
  • Experience working in a City or international law firm Corporate/M&A department.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) and data security and tech is plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to advise, synthesize, and quickly distil complex technical matters.
  • Top academic credentials with stellar analytical skills and drafting skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knack for building relationships of trust and loyalty among peers and clients.
  • Desire for cross-border travel to initiate and close complex multi-jurisdictional deals.
