The firm are seeking to hire a Competition Lawyer into their flourishing City of London office.
This department is award winning; the team have won several prestigious accolades in recent years.
This role is working in the competition team which sits within the overall corporate department, comprising of 24 partners and 51 associates. The associate will be working alongside four other competition associates and the competition partner.
The ideal candidate will be a junior associate who has an interest in, and had exposure to, a broad spectrum of UK and EU competition law, including in particular, UK and EU merger control, behavioural work (chapter 1 and 2 in the UK and Articles 101 and 102 in the EU), cartels, market investigations and abuse of dominance. Experience of state aid and public procurement would also be of interest, but not essential. The role requires a degree of flexibility to travel to the EU on occasion, and possibly further afield.
