An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join the Harpenden and St Albans Secretarial Teams and provide support to a number of Solicitors across different departments within a team of other experienced Secretaries.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a Team of secretaries who mainly receive work from Solicitors based in Residential Conveyancing, but also from Private Client and Family departments.

Responsibilities will include audio transcription, maintenance of an accurate case management database and up-to-date paper correspondence files, opening files, preparing paper correspondence files and drafting letters to clients for fee earner approval as well as general Administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous legal secretarial experience, ideally from within Conveyancing
  • Fast and accurate typing
  • You should have accurate and have close attention to detail
  • Work well in a team
  • Be self-motivated with a natural sense of urgency
