The role

This firm is seeking a Senior Associate - Leasehold Enfranchisement on a fixed term 12-month basis to join their Southampton office.

You will work as part of a highly-ranked legal 500 team. The team is busy and this position is looking to cover a 12-month period of maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to clients who are involved in the process of purchasing or selling the freehold of their leasehold property, as well as those who are looking to extend their lease.

The firm's clients range from individuals and groups of private leaseholders, residents' associations, and companies, through to investment landlords, institutional lenders, house-builders, developers and other landowners.

Requirements

• You will be a Senior Leasehold Enfranchisement Associate 4 PQE (there is no upper limit in regards to the amount of PQE)
• You will have a meticulous eye for detail
• You will have a good technical knowledge and good communication skills are essential
• Salary is competitive and negotiable and dependent on your level of PQE, plus an excellent benefits package
