The Role

This firm are looking for an ambitious, diligent and enthusiastic Paralegal interested in Property Finance to join their thriving office in Winchester, Hampshire.

The role involves acting for a lender only in taking and perfecting security over residential buy-to-let or commercial properties from individuals, trusts, companies and limited liability partnerships.

You will be responsible for running their own transactions with supervision and your work will include a broad range of interesting challenges.

You will ideally have a minimum of one year's experience in dealing with sale and purchases of commercial property and a very keen interest in pursuing this area of law as a career path.
Of course, direct Property Finance experience would be of real interest, but at least 1 year experience in a property department is required.

Requirements:

  • Preparing security and ancillary documents from templates,
  • Reviewing Valuation Reports,
  • Review of title and transactional documents, identifying issues/ taking the necessary steps to resolve them
  • Liaising with both the client and the borrower's solicitors to achieve completion of the security
  • Dealing with the receipt and despatch of funds to complete the finance
