Due to a continuous stream of new business, they are looking to expand their Property Litigation department and are now seeking a Property Litigation Partner to Head up their team in Essex.

The Role

The role will see you leading a small but strong property litigation team in Essex. You will play a part in the growth and development of the department, with an opportunity to shape and steer in the early stages of something much bigger to come.

The Property Litigation department deals with an excellent quality of work and houses a wealth of expertise. The broad range of work makes for a more exciting role.

The work includes but is not limited to land disputes, property contract disputes, residential and commercial property disputes, particularly residential possession claims for Landlords. The department also does bridging and defending commercial forfeiture claims, pursuing debt recovery claims for unpaid rent and service charges.

The client base ranges from property portfolio holders, including large charities and retailers, housebuilders and developers, social landlords and government institutions.

Requirements:

• You will be a Property Litigation Solicitor with 10 years PQE
• You will have experience of leading a team
• You will have a strong billings history and proven experience of generating new business
• You will be commercially astute and have meticulous attention to detail
