The Role

This firm is looking for a Head of Residential Property or Conveyancing Partner to join their flourishing office in Lewes, East Sussex.

The team find that good results are achieved by working closely with clients and building up relationships of trust and mutual respect.

Your role will be to manage, lead and grow a highly regarded residential property team comprised of 3 fee earners, 5 assistants and 1 paralegal. Alongside handling a small caseload of complex, HNW residential property matters from sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold, transfer of equity, re-mortgages and lease extensions.

The firms loyal client base has been built from years of the firm servicing local clients; they have excellent community links and a varied client base, you will be given the support and encouragement to business develop and grow the department in a friendly environment.

Requirements:

• You will be a Residential Property/Conveyancing Solicitor with 6 PQE, there is no upper limit in terms of PQE and Senior level candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in managing a team is essential, you will likely be either at Head of Residential Property or Conveyancing Partner level
• You will be a dynamic and personable individual
• You will be able to and comfortable in managing/developing client relationships
