The Firm

This well-established and innovative firm is thriving following a post-covid restructure and implementation of fully-remote working arrangements. The practice comprises over 100 estate planning experts who work remotely across the UK. Despite their geographical distance, a strong and effective teamworking culture can be felt throughout.

As the firm continues to grow, they are expanding their probate team with the addition of a Probate Case Manager.

The Role

The role will see you joining a friendly, close-knit probate team of 15, where you will work collaboratively on an existing busy and varied caseload of probate matters. Your duties will include but not be limited to;

• Reviewing and approving estate accounts.
• Drafting and collating supporting legal and financial documentation.

• Liaising with solicitors, courts, LR, OPG and other 3rd party companies as appropriate to each case.
• Dealing with routine and difficult enquiries effectively and efficiently and ensure that any client complaints are dealt with both professionally and promptly.
• Mentoring and assisting junior fee-earners on more complex cases.

Requirements

• You will be a Probate Fee Earner with at least five years of experience managing your own probate caseload independently.
• You will be confident drafting legal documents and statements, and handling all aspects of associated transactions.
