This highly-regarded Top 100 firm is seeking to continue its ambitious growth plans. With Legal 500 rankings in almost all departments, this heavy-hitting firm is seeking an experienced Energy Solicitor at the Partner level.

You will take on a pioneering position as Head of the Energy and Renewables Department, shaping the team as you see fit. The Role

This Top 100 UK law firm is seeking an experienced Energy Partner to take on a Head of Department Role.

This position open to senior solicitors with experience in either transactional or contentious energy matters. You will lead the department, utilising firm wide contacts and resources while continuing to build up a dedicated team of specialists.

The firm will ensure you are provided with first-class IT solutions and general support such as marketing and business development assistance. The existing Partners working the Energy sector will work supportively and cooperatively alongside you to help further develop the team.

You will be based out of the firm's City of London office, although there is also the opportunity to be stationed in the firm's Cardiff or Southampton offices. The benefit of hybrid and flexible working comes with any location.

The firm's existing clients include wind farm operators, anaerobic digestion plants, tidal power and solar farm developers, housing associations, housebuilders and national utility companies. Growth of the practice's energy team has been made a top priority for the firm's new five-year strategy.

As a result of such prioritisation, you will receive unrivalled support and investment. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will bring with them a client following or book business, as well as a solid business plan for the department.


  • An existing Energy Partner qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales
