This City of London practice is an extremely talented and successful multi-specialist firm with several offices in South London. They have a strong national reputation in niche areas and are a top 200 firm. Renowned for their work in contentious trusts and estates, this is one of the go-to practices operating in the Capital. Dealing with cross-jurisdictional cases, high-value eight figure estates, appeals, novel points of law and cases involving procedural complexity is the staple of this dynamic firm.

You will be working with Partners, fee-earners, paralegals, and support staff as part of a team and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards.

The Role:

You will be employed in the Conveyancing and Property Services Department as an Associate handling a varied caseload of residential cases, predominantly on behalf of private clients.

  • You will be managing your own caseload.
  • You will have the flair and ability to improve your skills and develop your practice
  • You will be working as a key part of a team comprising Partners, fee-earners, paralegals and support staff
  • An integral part of the role is to work with the Team on business development and on supporting marketing initiatives in line with the firm-wide business plan.

Requirements:

  • 4 years PQE of conveyancing practice.
  • Experience of managing a busy caseload while building and maintaining effective client relationships.
  • The ability to provide practical solutions for clients and to communicate effectively to achieve required outcomes
  • An organised and technically detailed approach to your the work and the ability to work to tight timescales
  • A desire and the ability to help to grow the business through supporting marketing initiatives through networking and digital media
  • Sound IT skills and experience of working with case management systems.
